More and more people are now becoming proactive in terms of planning for their old age. Everybody should consider, when preparing their Will whether they wish to also have an Enduring Power of Attorney. This is the means whereby you can appoint someone to take control of your affairs in the event of your losing the capacity to do so either because of an accident or through the ageing process. Putting an enduring power of attorney in place makes it easier for your family to deal with your affairs in those circumstances.
