Paul qualified in 2007 and is a dedicated employment law solicitor with extensive experience of advising both businesses and individuals on workplace legal matters.

Paul has supported clients across the full range of industry sectors on all employment law related matters including performance, disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancy, medical capability, unfair dismissal, discrimination, contract disputes and settlement agreements.

Paul represents clients through ACAS Early Conciliation and has represented clients in Courts and Employment Tribunals across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and even Australia.

With a personable and practical approach, Paul is known for putting his clients first, blending his deep knowledge of employment law with a realistic approach. This approach allows Paul to provide solutions to clients that fit their needs. He has a solid history of winning cases in employment tribunals and securing positive results in difficult negotiations. Paul’s clear and open communication style helps his clients fully grasp their rights and options, giving them the confidence to make informed decisions..

Paul has worked on around 100 files per year during his career and is supervised at MBH solicitors by Senior Partner, Gillian Lavelle. Paul joined MBH as a Consultant Solicitor in September 2025.

Outside of the office, Paul is a trustee of two charities, and his life is otherwise mainly ruled by children and dogs.
