MBH Welcomes 3 New Trainee Solicitors

McCarthy Bennett Holland Solicitors (MBH) welcome three trainee solicitors into the firm who will commence their training contracts this month. Each of the candidates have shown true potential in their respective areas. However, they will have to train for a further 2 years in different areas of the law before they will be able to qualify.

Sammy-Jo Woodward will also dual-qualify as she is set to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer this month. However, that is not enough for Sammy who has decided to return to university alongside her full time job at MBH to obtain her masters and post graduate training.

Warren Richards recently joined us from a top 30 law firm specialising in commercial law and will be assisting our commercial partner Mark Boon.

James Ford joined MBH on 19th September 2016 moving from a top 150 law firm and has valuable experience in Wills, Probate & Estate Planning having gained a STEP Certificate in Trusts and Estates England & Wales.

It is important to the future of the legal profession that firms invest in the training of new members who will become in time tomorrows lawyers. Youth brings new ideas, technology and innovation. The volume and range of legal services that MBH provides enables us this year to unusually offer three training contracts with the ability for each trainee to specialise in their chosen area of law.

Recruiting three new lawyers is part of our current programme to grow and expand the practice. Each trainee brings a wealth of knowledge to their employment with us and I am looking forward to watching them each develop further.

Each of our trainees have the advantage of living locally and have a knowledge of Wigan and its people. I believe that they will each grasp the opportunity that they have been given of furthering their careers within their local town and I look forward to them providing high quality legal advice to the people of Wigan and beyond for many years to come’.
